I'm a satellite heart

Yesterday while sewing my kimono (school project) I sewed my finger!!! It was the most painful thing that has ever happened to me. Anyways, after hours of cryingl, then buying some goodies at the bakery , oh and tons of advil (which I usually never take even when I have a giant headache) I feel better... Besides the fact that I have this huge "cast" around my finger. Anyways, a couple weeks ago I bought a meter of lace fabric and I tied it in a bow around my waist today :)

I made this dress last weekend and wore it today :) I paired it with my Steven by Steve Madden flats which I was feeling bad for because I only wore them once. I think it worked out pretty well :)

I don't even remember when it was, I think last friday. What happened was that I hated everything in my closet, so I decided to dress myself in black from head to toe. After school that day, before meeting up with Alexander I stumbled upon a really interesting african store and bought these hand crafted elephants from south africa, aren't they adorable?

I want to be with you night and day

Last week I went fabric shopping with my mum, I bought a sheer zebra fabric to use as a bathing suit cover, a plain black one that I'm using for school to make a kimono and a beautiful paisley one that I'm not to sure what I'll do with yet. I also bought some sequins and beads to embellish tops or dresses with.. we'll see what happens :)

Tuesday was pants day for me. But only because my friends and I bet each other to, me wear pants (because I never do and I hate it) and them to wear a skirt or a dress (because they just always wear jeans) I felt pretty uncomfortable the entire day.. I don't know how you people do it.

P.S to last post. His idea was for me to post a photo of the tv by itself because everyone always comments about it.. but my idea was to stick dollar store crystals on the tv. Pffff, he's not that smart :) kidding

I lost my pencil case a while back, so with some sample fabric I got at school, I made my own :) haha I was super proud of the outcome so I wanted to show you. The outfit is from friday, I had a team project to present. We created out own spring/summer collection (by drawings not actually clothing) I think it went pretty well :) After, I met up with Alex, went for dinner and then went in my family's new hot tubb! I love those things :) Blogging, for me, is going to stay less frequent and I apologize but I have 2 collections to create for drawing class, a textiles project to do, a portfolio to create and I have a feeling I'll have a hole bunch of studying to do. Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well!
